Will you be a soldier for Christ and spread His Gospel?

If we are soldiers of Christ, we must be brave soldiers. We must daily put on the whole armor of God, so that, wherever we go to spread the word of God, that we may be shielded from the assaults of the enemy. There are many who will oppose you, hate, you, persecute you, just because you are sharing God’s word, but, know that you will be protected, because God’s love will cover you as a shield.

Are you troubled by what is happening around you?

There is trouble and distress at every turn, natural and manmade disasters are facing us every day, we are turning against each other, because our love is growing cold. But, let us not be troubled but watch an pray, and keep sharing our testimonies, so that, those who don’t believe on the Lord Jesus Christ will come to believe and be saved. My brothers and sisters in Christ, the world and all that is in it are passing away but the things of God will remain.

How are you living your life?

Live your life in such a way, that if people should see you, they could see God’s goodness in you.

Whatever you have been praying for, never give up.

Too many times we miss out on God’s blessings because we give up too soon. Whenever you feel like you can’t hold on any longer, call on the Lord, draw down His strength; He promised to send you help from His sanctuary and strengthen you out of Zion. If you are confident, that even though your heart and flesh may fail that God remains the strength of your heart, He will fulfill your needs. Praise the Lord!

What is the plank in my eye that needs to be removed?

The planks in our eye could be labeled as criticism, blame, accusation, disapproval, condemnation, reproach and so much more, yet, we level these on others as if they are beyond us, that is why Scripture calls us hypocrites. Before we begin to label others, let us be sure that our own label is peeled off.

Did you forget to thank God today?

Lord, I may not remember all of the good things that you have done for me, they are too many I cannot recount them in order. But, today Lord, this moment, I am mindful of what you have done for me, I have so much to thank you for, but, most of all, I am just saying thank you for answered prayers, thank you for sustaining me all these years, thank you, that I did not give up, even though my faith wavered at times, but you always had a way of showing me that you have not forgotten me. Lord, help me to remember, that, your ways are not my ways nor your thoughts my thoughts, and teach to wait patiently, knowing that you always give me my fruits in due season. Thank you, Lord!

Thank You Lord for your mercy which is abundant!

Lord, please help us not to make your love too narrow, by false limits of our own, for your love so true and deep, is still more mightier that it seems. “There’s a wideness in God’s mercy, like the wideness of the sea; there’s a kindness in His justice, which is more than liberty.” Thank you, Lord!

How do you wait on the Lord!

Waiting on the Lord requires great faith, because when we make our petitions before God, we do not know when or where or how he will answer, we have to learn to listen to him in the still. God is always working our purpose out, many times we interrupt the process with our complaints and our groanings, and many time by rebelliousness. Lord, teach us to wait patiently on you, confident, that you will give us our fruits in due season.

If it had not been for the Lord on our side, if it had not been for the Lord on our sides, many of us would not have been here this morning. Let all the peoples say, “Amen!”

Lord, you are good! Lord, you are great! I will continually trust you with my whole heart, because you are my shield, my provider, and in you I find strength to go through anything. Thank you, Lord! I will never forget all that you brought me through or all that you have done for me, and will continually trust for all that you will do for me. Amen!

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people, from this time forth and forever more. Psalm 125:2

Heavenly Father, we are thankful, that no matter what we are facing that your love surrounds us like a shield. Thanks for your protection through the hurricane, thank you for deliverance after the hurricane. Lord, we trust in you, let us be like mount Zion which cannot be moved; and as we experience the effects of hurricane Matthew, as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Lord, surround Your people. All this we ask in your precious name. Amen!
